About GDC Europe

The Game Developers Conference^™ Europe (GDC Europe) is the largest professionals-only game industry event in Europe. The GDC Europe will be held in conjunction with gamescom, the leading European consumer and industry show. This allows the conference to address the development community at a central location in the heart of Europe and command the critical mass of the European games sector. The games are coming to Cologne! In summer 2009, gamescom is starting Europe's new trade fair highlight for interactive games and entertainment is coming to Koelnmesse. "Celebrate the Games!" The entire industry is meeting here, as well as anyone who is enthusiastic about computers and video games.

German Trade Association of Interactive Entertainment Software (BIU)
The German Trade Association of Interactive Entertainment Software (BIU) is the body which represents the relevant providers and producers of entertainment software in Germany. It organises the interests of relevant companies in the field of interactive entertainment. As the central point of reference for media and political and social institutions, the BIU provides information on all issues connected with computer and video games.
